Tyler Paul Myers is a Canadian-American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League. He was drafted by the Sabres in the first round, 12th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and also he won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s best rookie in 2010.

Tyler Myers was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. He began playing for the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League in 2005. He married Michela Gellert in 2014.
