Sneha Ullal was born 18 December 1987 in Muscat, Oman. She studied at Indian School Muscat and Indian School Salalah in Oman. Later she moved to Mumbai with her mother and attended Durelo Convent High School and later studied at Vartak College. She made her movie debut in the 2005 Hindi movie Lucky: No Time for Love opposite Salman Khan. After the movie, she was noted for striking similarities in appearance with Aishwarya Rai. Then her mom and sister relocated to Bombay, & she started studying at MMK College. She got a phone call from Bollywood actor Salman Khan, which she almost decided to dismiss as a prank by fellow collegians, but decided to check him out. And this changed her life forever.
